Genoa – It had to happen, sooner or later. Undoubtedly 2022 will be a year that Litfiba fans will not be able to forget. After over forty years together, 13 albums, millions of records sold and as many concerts, the Italian rock band led by Piero Pelù and Ghigo Renzulli announces the farewell tour with the stages (currently only ten published) of “The Last Girone”, which will take the start next spring with concerts at the Gran Teatro Geox in Padua where the band will play on April 26th and 27th.

A story that can boast record successes with 10 million copies sold and thousands of concerts in Italy, Europe and the rest of the world – precursors like few of rock sung in Italian – but also strongly linked to the double mandate to the history of our country, between social commitment, civil / environmental battles and human rights ”, reads a post published on the band’s Instagram account.
An exit from the musical scenes that it won’t taste like a nostalgic goodbye, but that of a “real traveling party” that will mark the worthy and powerful conclusion of the history of the band, formed in 1980 and which over the years has marked the history of Italian rock, also contaminating punk, pop and new wave sounds. , with the release of successful albums, including “El diablo”, “Desaparecido”, “Terremoto” and “Mondi sommersi”.
The last tour, organized by Friends & Partners, of which the first ten dates have been announced, will stop in Naples, Rome, Florence and Milan where Litfiba will be accompanied by Luca “Luc Mitraglia” Martelli on drums, Fabrizio “Simoncia” Simoncioni on keyboards and Dado “Black Dado” Neri on bass.
