“Security conditions are still evolving rapidly. “Russia does not respect international law”

Doors open to European democracies
“The doors of NATO remain open to all European democracies that share the values of our Alliance”. It reads in the final declaration of the summit. “The decisions on enlargement are up to NATO itself; no third party has a say in this process ”, we read again. “We remain committed to the integration of those countries that aspire to join the Alliance, judging each on their own merits. We encourage them to continue to implement the reforms and decisions necessary to prepare for membership.
