There is no peace for the mayor of Istanbul, Ekrem Imamoglu, the subject of yet another investigation: this time he risks up to 4 years in prison. Since he took away the Turkish president from the Justice and Development Party (AKP), Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the control of the most important city in Turkey, Imamoglu is the object of a desperate attempt by Erdogan to discredit him and weaken his administration, limiting the flow of money and compromising the development plans of the megacity even in key sectors such as that services and assistance to the most needy population.
