This morning, more than 250,000 people in the north and north-east of France were left without electricity due to the Aurora storm that hit the country. In particular, in the French region of Finistère, hit hard by the storm, several houses under construction were destroyed and strong winds damaged many trees. Transport Minister Jean-Baptiste Djebbari said in a tweet that the Île-de-France region, around Paris, Normandy, northern France and eastern Lorraine regions were the hardest hit.
