I chewed my finger“, Estefany Benitez said bluntly, the woman who will probably never want to see a hamburger in his life. Let’s go in order. On 12 September Estefany went to eat at a well-known fast food restaurant in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia: she ordered a hamburger and while she was eating the sandwich she realized that something was wrong. Inside, among the flesh, was a human finger, the index to be precise.

According to what was reported by the New York Post, the restaurant was temporarily closed and fined in light of the “unfortunate accident”, as defined by the company. The woman immediately brought everything to the attention of an employee who replied: “We give you your money back. Tell me what you want and we will give it to you… nothing like this has ever happened to us ”.

Although the employees reported that they were closing the shop immediately, Estefany said this did not happen, in fact they continued to serve customers as if nothing had happened. Local police confirmed that the finger was from an employee who had an accident while cutting meat. An internal investigation was launched to clarify the incident. Meanwhile, the post published on Facebook is making the rounds of the web between indignation and general amazement.
