The situation has worsened in a few days and if the trend is confirmed at least three Italian regions risk entering the yellow zone before the end of August, even within two weeks. Among these is Sardinia. The news is from Fiorenza Sarzanini, from Corriere della Sera who cites the draft of the ISS.

These are regions that have exceeded the incidence of 50 weekly cases per 100 thousand inhabitants but the places occupied in the medical area and in intensive care are still below the threshold and only for this reason they remain in the white zone according to the new parameters decided by the government with the latest decree. However, the situation precipitated in a few days and the risk is confirmed, they risk entering the yellow zone before the end of August, even within two weeks.

Among these regions is Sardinia where the incidence is very high with 136 cases, 4.4% in the medical area and 4.2% in intensive care.
