Available for a few months in the United States, this feature was designed by the Mountain View giant to allow users to count on a valid assistant when they are driving a vehicle and need to have the necessary directions to reach the desired destination.
The Driving Mode with Google Assistant will be available in Germany from tomorrow
Guide Mode with Google Assistant boasts an interface designed specifically to avoid distractions as much as possible and allows you to access music applications, messaging services and other apps that may be useful while on the go.
Obviously, there is a great integration with Google Assistant, which is confirmed to be the backbone of the entire ecosystem that the Mountain View giant has created in recent years.
Here are some screenshots of Driving Mode with Google Assistant:
A quick glance is enough to notice that the interface is characterized by generously sized keys, so as to be easier to select when driving (the intent is to reduce possible distractions).
To activate this feature (which requires a smartphone with at least 4 GB of RAM and Android 9 or later), when it is available, simply go to the Google Assistant settings menu (or use the appropriate voice command to open it ) and in the dedicated section enable the guide mode.
This new feature will be available in Germany starting tomorrow and it is likely that in the coming weeks the Mountain View giant will also make its debut in other countries of the Old Continent, including ours. We’ll see.
