Ubisoft has provided a first teaser trailer captured on the latest evolution of the Snowdrop graphics engine for Avatar Frontiers of Pandora.
The game, based on James Cameron’s IP, was announced some time ago but has finally received the first official details.
Avatar Frontiers of Pandora will only be available on next-gen consoles PS5 e Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, Google Stadia e PC.
The launch is scheduled for 2022.
The trailer exhibited was particularly impressive but, as stated by a wording at the beginning of the video, that’s all “Game footage moved by Snowdrop”.
This is the same engine that gave birth The Division 2, the latest GaaS set in the world of Massive Entertainment.
The Swedish studio is also working on a new game of Star Wars, although that will take even longer.
In Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, we will play as a Na’vi on their journey through the Pandora’s Western Frontier.
The story is standalone and separate from that of the films, set in a part never seen before of Pandora in which to meet unique creatures and new characters, and challenge the RDA menace.
Frontiers of Pandora Sara a first-person action adventure and will be developed directly by Massive, in collaboration with Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney.
