First sightings of the prototypes of Maserati Grecale, the new SUV of the Modenese car manufacturer. A forklift of the high-wheeled model of segment D was filmed while carrying out some road tests in the city and in spite of it the heavy roofing that did not reveal almost any details, it is however possible to glimpse some elements that begin to give us a first glimpse of what the new Trident SUV will look like.
In the first part of the video you can see the rear of the Maserati Grecale, with a sloped tailgate line and shapes that in a certain sense recall those of the Porsche Macan, one of the models for which the new model of the brand will compete for a slice of the market in the premium segment. The style appears to be very linear, with the bumper integrating a circular four-tailpipe exhaust system. The roof line is slightly curved, with a design similar to that seen on the super sports car MC20. From this Grecale model it should also inherit the optical groups, which will have a similar shape, with the LED optical groups that will partly extend to the hood, ideally embracing the front silhouette in a harmonious way. In the second part of the video it is also possible to notice the large grille, a typical element of Maserati, also confirmed on the Grecale but with a lower position. Next to the “shark nose” grille are two deep air intakes.
Maserati Grecale, wind of change

It is possible that a Grecale Trofeo will also be offered, with the use of the 2.9-liter V6 and 510 HP of the Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio or a weakened version of the Neptune. Finally, there will also be space for an electric version, the Grecale Folgore, which will have an 800 Volt architecture with the possibility of fast charging up to 300 kW.
