Among the legendary Alfa Romeos of the 1980s, it is impossible not to remember the Alfa 75. The iconic sedan is still one of the most sought after models by Alfisti, especially in the Turbo Evoluzione version.
Produced in 500 units, it was the most powerful and exclusive 75. An excellently preserved specimen is on sale in Italy, to be precise in Reggio Emilia from Dream wheels.
155 hp in just 1,000 kg
True, there are several Alfa Romeo 75 Turbo Evoluzione on sale in Italy. However, the one we present to you is one of the best “treated” and that can count on a rich photo gallery, all to be enjoyed.
The worst version of the 75 was made to obtain homologation in the Group A category of the Touring Championship. The 1,762cc petrol engine was tuned to deliver 155hp. The excellent power for the time was combined with a weight of only 1,000 kg to guarantee decidedly exhilarating performance.
With a top speed of 220 km / h and a 0-100 km / h sprint of 7.6 seconds, the Turbo Evoluzione was one of the fastest sedans of the 1980s. Many Alfisti consider it “the last true Alfa Romeo” also because of the effective 5-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive. In this it was the last of the Biscione before the Giulia.
Red and black are the dominant colors of the bodywork. The aggressive color is also present in the alloy wheels, while the wording “75 Evoluzione” is proudly displayed on the side. At the rear you can see the black spoiler and the classic central exhaust terminal.
The advert car is equipped with Italian papers, interior with restored seats and renewed carpet. The model has covered almost 74,000 km and is offered for 84,000 euros. An important figure for one of the Italian icons of the 80s, whose prices are destined to rise in the coming years.
We remember in fact that in some way the Alfa 75 Turbo Evoluzione can be considered the “aunt” of the new Giulia GTA, the extreme road version of the Alfa Romeo sports sedan, with the Giulia Sprint GTA practically its “grandmother”.
