A new video streaming platforms is coming. Is called Binge and is scheduled for 2022. It is described as “the future of gaming-themed entertainment” and should offer content such as original game-themed series and shows. The Chief Content Officer is Allan Ungar, or the director of the Uncharted fan-film, which featured Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Castle) as Nathan Drake.
Ungar explains that Binge’s goal is to bring the passion and fandom of video games into one premium platform. It will be available on every device, from computers to smartphones, tablets, televisions and game consoles (not yet specified). The will of the Binge team is to create “high quality premium content for gamers”. To achieve this, the team will work to “respect the fans and the games that inspired them.”
For the moment, the creators of Binge are not ready to go into detail, but the company has claimed to have made deals with “amazing partners“, including” the most popular content creators from around the world “as well as game publishers and developers. The series will feature retro, indie and blockbuster games, for full coverage. There will also be a Squad Parties feature to watch alongside the friends show and get rewards. New information will arrive over the next few months. You can find the official website at this address.
