Google has revealed that starting from June 23, 2021 it will be possible to play with Stadia its Chromecast con Google TV and other operating systems Android TV. Here’s what was shared via the official Stadia community blog.

In addition to Chromecast with Google TV, it will be possible to play Stadia on following devices:

  • Hisense Android Smart TVs (U7G, U8G, U9G)
  • Nvidia Shield TV
  • Nvidia Shield TV Pro
  • Onn FHD Streaming Stick e UHD Streaming Device
  • Philips 8215, 8505, e OLED 935/805 Series Android TV
  • Xiaomi MIBOX3 e MIBOX4
Stadia Controller

If by chance your device with the Android TV operating system is not included in this list, you can activate the experimental support to play with Stadia anyway: obviously the feature is still in development, so it is possible that there are problems with the devices not listed. Either way, it’s a new way to access Stadia more freely.

You will just have to go to the Play Store of your reference device and proceed with the installation of the Stadia app. When playing on an Android TV device, you can use the Stadia Controller or a compatible Bluetooth controller.

Finally, we remind you that the Ubisoft + beta also expands in Europe on Stadia, but avoids Italy.
