The Lamborghini Aventador coupé that was driving and stopped at the Dragonja crossing was wanted by the German police because the payment of the leasing installments had been interrupted and the rightful owner had demanded its return. For this reason, a 22-year-old German citizen was denounced by the Slovenian authorities who had checked the vehicle on 8 May last. The driver of the car worth 270,000 euros intended to go to a seaside resort in Croatian Istria when the car was checked. An analysis carried out by the Slovenian police forces revealed the state of the car sought in Germany. After checking with the German authorities, the Slovenian agents started the search and finally seized the vehicle, handing it over to the court until it was returned to the rightful owner who collected the Lamborghini last Friday 4 June.
