Everything is ready for the arrival of Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, expected on June 11 only on PS5. The next chapter, the sixteenth of the series, will start after the events of Ratchet & Clank Into the Nexus.
The new adventure of Insomniac Games promises to be able to harness the power of PS5 and is the next-gen debut of the platform franchise launched in 2002 on PS2.
It is known that the game will not be released on PS4, unlike what happened for two pillars of Sony such as Horizon Forbidden West e God of War Ragnarok, with the now declared cross-gen nature.
Rift Apart it will hold its home console tightly, but the same cannot be said of Gran Turismo 7, also destined to “divide” between old-gen and next-gen.
Fans with an eye on the technical side of their favorite titles will be delighted to hear that a patch coming to day one will include some additional performance-related modes that the game will show.
This is a road already traveled by Insomniac Games, which with Marvel’s Spider Man Miles Morales has allowed PS5 users to take advantage of additional post-launch graphics options (via Push Square).
Options that, in a very similar way, are bound to come back in Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart. The new patch will in fact introduce a performance mode which will carry the title to 60fps stable.
The developers also shared the following video showing the game in RT performance mode, or with the frame rates just mentioned accompanied dal ray tracing:

The software house specified that “these results were achieved by leveraging dynamic base resolution through our temporal injection technology for reach 4K»
These are two additional modes that will accompany the standard one, characterized by a resolution of 4K e 30fps.
Among the many boasts of PS5, it should be mentioned the SSD, responsible for obtaining the performances that will increase the overall quality of the latest effort of the US software house.
