After a first initial postponement of operations, starting from 5 June all Vodafone customers have officially active on their SIM the default block of VAS services. The operator’s initial forecasts were to provide this service to everyone by April 30, a date later postponed to June 31. Nothing more subscription services activated unconsciously by users.

The premium services that this move is blocking include all of those services that can be activated via SMS or data connection about horoscopes, video, music, news, weather, ringtones or more. Usually these involve a one-time payment or a periodic subscription, the cost of which is deducted from your telephone credit. The choice to make this change follows one AGCOM resolution, which for the protection of users has considered it right to make these services disabled by default.

The barring in question will cover all VAS services, eg except for those that are really useful for users, such as: Mobile Ticketing services, banking information, televoting, donations, postal and others. For those who want to reactivate the authorization to purchase VAS services, just send a SMS to the number 3424042000 with the word “Unlock” as the body of the message, or contact the digital assistance channel TOBi.
