It youtuber Dream got more than a million followers in the last month, after admitting to having barato in Minecraft (without his knowledge) and despite not having published any new videos.

In fact, Dream hasn’t published anything since mid-April, that is since movie “Minecraft Speedrunner VS 5 Hunters” co-created with GeorgeNotFound, Sapnap, BadBoyHalo, awesamdude and antfrost, which garnered 41 million views and 3.1 million likes.

Despite his absence, Dream is still one of the content creators of YouTube which is growing faster. It currently has 22 million followers. In May he confessed to using cheats in his Minecraft speedruns, naturally sparking endless controversy.

These days, however, crime (figuratively) seems to pay more than usual, since instead of losing followers, it is gaining plenty. Dream launched his Youtube channel in 2019 and by the end of 2020 he had become one of the biggest youtubers in the Minecraft scene and the platform in general. In 2021, he is showing no signs of slowing down, with the growth curve of his followers remaining constant over time.
