It has already happened in the past to talk about this I am Jesus Christ, the very particular project under development by the SimulaM team. This group of developers is continuing to update us constantly with a series of video diaries or posts on their site. One of the recent updates shows us how the curious divine role-playing game visually shows itself with the help of the brand new Unreal Engine 5 and all the first graphic features that the new Epic engine makes available in its early access phase.

Earlier last month, the development team working on I am Jesus Christ announced plans to switch from Unity to Unreal Engine. To show the early work done in this step, the team recently released a video showing the first graphical tests facts about the character models and locations of the game using the all-new version of Unreal Engine 5.

According to what was declared by the SimulaM guys, the result of what is shown in the video is in line with what the team was envisioning for their game. At the moment Unreal Unreal 5 is not yet available in its 1.0 version, but the guys hope that the new Epic Games engine will be ready when the I am Jesus Christ Kickstarter campaign officially starts, or in the early days of September 2021.

As you can see in the video, the graphic leap forward of the title in question is powerful, and it is interesting to see how the SimulaM guys will be able to file everything with the passage of time and with the upcoming versions of Unreal Engine 5.

If you love the simulation genre, but prefer to stay on a decidedly more traditional title, you can buy the already beloved Microsoft Flight Simulator on Amazon at this address.
