ACQUANEGRA. Fear, this afternoon (June 2), in the green area next to the town’s playground, in via Generale Dalla Chiesa. A 12-year-old boy, intent on playing with friends in the green area, was injured in the leg with an iron. He was playing behind a hedge and here, at about 5.30 pm, he would have tripped over a piece of iron sticking out of the ground. In the fall, the iron got stuck in his leg.
Rescue arrived immediately in red code: the 118 health workers needed the help of the firefighters to cut the piece of metal from the ground, before admitting the 12-year-old in yellow code to the Mantua hospital to remove the foreign body from the leg. The mayor Monica De Pieri was also frightened, who rushed to the scene and has already prepared an investigation.
