In addition to the numerous software houses First Party already working on PlayStation 4 e PlayStation 5, in fact, the Japanese company recently reiterated the importance of forging ties with other creatives. In the course of a rich interview, in particular, Hermen Hulst, responsible for Playstation Studios, highlighted the role played within the PlayStation ecosystem by some talented software houses.
“These kinds of partnerships are exciting. – said the manager in referring to the agreements reached with Haven e Firewalk – I think that possibly a distinction could be made between development studios that are part of Sony, such as Naughty Dog, Insomniac, Media Molecule, Sucker Punch and so on, and those development teams that are working with us as partners. . Haven, Firewalk, but also the teams that have worked with us over the years, like Kojima Productions O FromSoftware. As far as I’m concerned, however, there is no difference. They are all PlayStation Studios. Ultimately, our industry is driven by creatives. And that for me means that we want to seek out the best studios in the world and help them try to realize their ideas“.
