Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, one of the most anticipated titles by PlayStation 5 owners, is now in the pipeline, with the new platform from Insomniac Games making its debut on June 11th.
A new leak leaked on the net in the last few hours has revealed the possible existence of a PlayStation 5 + Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart bundle which Sony would be working on internally. The information comes from the database of the French retailer Boulanger: an employee, or in any case a person with access to the store’s data, has disclosed information regarding a bundle to be launched at the price of 599 euros.
While it is true that the Japanese giant has published bundles in the past with the games of the Ratchet & Clank series (as happened Ratchet & Clank Trilogy and Ratchet & Clank All 4 One), it would seem rather premature to think of offering customers a similar solution, especially considering that the console is immediately sold-out as soon as the stores receive their stock. The 599 euros requested are also higher than the amount we would spend buying the two products separately. It could therefore be a fake created specifically by someone able to access the Boulanger databases, or we could be faced with a case of a customized bundle by the French retailer, a practice already implemented by other retailers.
For these reasons we recommend that you take the news with due caution, pending any confirmations or denials from Sony. In the meantime, we invite you to retrieve our Preview of Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, waiting for the definitive review of the new Insomniac game.
