PS5 e PS4 will see the arrival of several in the future single player games narrative-based: according to Hermen Hulst, head of PlayStation Studios, this kind of experience is part of theirs DNA.
It is no mystery, moreover, that Sony points a lot on this type of product. The Last of Us 2 was the game with the most Game of the Year awards, and titles like God of War and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End helped raise the bar for this specific mix of elements.
“Story-based single player games are part of our DNA,” said Hulst. “PlayStation Studios has, in my opinion, made some of the most memorable storytelling experiences ever. We love making these kinds of products, and will continue to do so as long as we’re passionate about it.”
“For me the idea of sitting on the sofa on a Friday night and confronting myself with a completely new world, with a great one history to discover, it sounds very good. Don’t you think? “
“We also want to make sure we create a variety of experiences for our audiences. Established franchises, new intellectual properties, big games, small and innovative games, single player and multiplayer based stories. Because who says multiplayer titles can’t tell big stories? “
