Bend Studio, the team of Days Gone, he’s working on one new intellectual property based on open world: this was confirmed by Hermen Hulst, head of PlayStation Studios, during an interview.
Hulst’s words seem to go along with rumors that Days Gone 2 has been rejected by Sony, which does not mean that the sequel is excluded, but that clearly Bend Studio will not be dealing with it.
After talking about the 25 games for PS5 and PS4 in development, half of which are new intellectual properties, the head of PlayStation Studios took advantage of this to clarify what the development team is doing at the moment.
“You know, Bend studio is working on an exciting new intellectual property that is thrilling them. They’re expanding the mechanics. open world that they created for Days Gone, and I’m really happy for them. “
No other details, for the moment: we can only imagine that the project is still in the early stages of production. So better not expect an official announcement soon …
