After the numerous leaks and cryptic messages on Crysis 2 Remastered, the leaders of Crytek confirm the rumors of the last few months by officially announcing Crysis Remastered Trilogy, the reissue for current-gen systems of the famous shooter series.
Developed in collaboration with Saber Interactive, the remastered Crysis trilogy will include the full experience of their respective singleplayer campaigns and a plethora of graphical enhancements and optimizations.
The interventions carried out by the Saber team will affect both the definition of the textures and the quality of the lighting effects, particle and volumetric, with further additions that will cross the entire gaming experience on the basis of the innovations made by the latest version of the graphics engine CryEngine.
In addition to the already available Crysis Remastered, the collection will therefore include updated re-editions of the Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 single player campaigns which, we recall, are set in a futuristic version of a New York devastated by the war fought by humans against the alien species which is the background to the adventure of the first chapter.
The launch of Crysis Remastered Trilogy is planned for this Autumn on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S in backward compatible version.
