Today, April 1st, Remedy has decided to make a “joke” to the very particular community: the development team has in fact shown a trailer of demake di Control, as if it came from the 32-bit generation of the first PlayStation.
In the teaser, viewable just below, we see Jesse doing the same actions seen in the original game, so much so that even the music refers to the adventure originally released in 2019.
Of course, the graphics sector is really obsolete (to put it mildly), but it is still a really surprising gem:
Obviously, we reiterate that this is only a video made to entertain users, since at the time of writing no developer or fan is working on a version. PSOne of the game (although it cannot be ruled out that after this “April Fool” someone doesn’t really decide to make a demake).
Only yesterday the journalist Jeff Grubb also hinted that Remedy Entertainment is working on Alan Wake 2, sequel to the horror adventure originally released several years ago on Xbox 360 (although at the moment there is no official confirmation of the case).
The official description of Control reads:
The invasion of a New York secret agency by an otherworldly threat leads you to become the new Director, and you will have to fight to regain Control. From developer Remedy Entertainment, in this supernatural dynamic third-person adventure you’ll learn how to master otherworldly abilities, editable gear and interactive environments while battling against an unpredictable and dark world.
Control is available from August 27, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We also remind you that the next-gen upgrade of Control is only available to players who have purchased Control Ultimate Edition September 10 on consoles and September 27 on Steam.
