With an information notice on its official website, TIM has provided some details on the delivery service “Smart Book” to receive updated landline telephone directories in a single volume. The customer can opt out of the service free of charge. The novelty concerns the notices on the invoice.
The Smart Book delivery service allows customers to receive the lists of TIM fixed line subscriptions every year and other telephone operators in a single volume, directly to the address of the telephone system.
The Smart Book service concerns only the delivery of the volume updated to the current year e does not include the withdrawal of previous editions, to be disposed of by the customer.
Targeted information for customers with volumes in delivery
As early as February 2021, TIM began informing its customers of the insertion of a new message on the invoice regarding the delivery of telephone directories. Unlike in the past, the warning message on the invoice has been invited only to customers who have signed up for the service and who have been subject to imminent delivery according to the distribution calendar.
The aim is therefore to inform customers of the delivery of the volume in a timely and targeted manner.
TIM’s Smart Book service still has a cost of 3.90 euros including VAT and is charged directly to the TIM invoice. The operator informs that the customer does not owe any amount to the employees in charge of distribution.
