After the recent negotiations for the acquisition of Discord from Microsoft, the messaging platform returns to be talked about. In fact, after having detected some minority shares on Discord, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) also announced that the teams of the respective companies are working together for connect the communication service with the PlayStation Network bystart of next year.

Just a couple of months ago, the Wall Street Journal reported that Microsoft was on the verge of acquiring Discord for approx 10 billion dollars. Discord later revealed that it had walked away from talks with Microsoft, intending to remain independent and pursue the path of a ‘initial public offering.
