According to an alleged leak circulating on Reddit and taken up by Idle Sloth (Xbox Enthusiast with a not exactly positive track record) Microsoft could add this week all Resident Evil games on Xbox Game Pass, ahead of the launch of Resident Evil Village.
According to the source Microsoft and Capcom will add Resident Evil Zero on Game Pass, Resident Evil Code Veronica, Resident Evil (GameCube Remake), Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, Resident Evil Revelations, Resident Evil Revelations 2, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6, and FIFA 21 and Stardew Valley will also make their debut this week. Resident Evil 7 Biohazard is obviously missing from the list, already present on Xbox Game Pass.
The announcement appears to be scheduled for Tuesday 4 May, however it must be said that the post has been deleted by Reddit and the author suspended until he does not clarify his sources. At present, therefore, we report the rumor for the record, however it could be a fake.
Per Resident Evil Village Capcom has partnered with PlayStation (which provided, among other things, the early availability of the demo on PS4 and PS5) but it is not actually excluded that in the week of launch Microsoft may respond with all the games of the Resident Evil series (with the exception of some spin-offs and the eighth chapter) on Game Pass. We will know more in the next few hours.
