NASA, the return to the Moon postponed to 2025 (perhaps)

The return to the moon, for NASA, has been postponed by at least a year: we have to wait until 2025. The US agency has announced the postponement of the program with respect to the deadline set for 2024 by Donadl Trump, at the time president of the United States. All postponed to 2025, explained Bill Nelson, the former Florida senator who was selected to lead NASA by President Joe Biden earlier this year.

“We have lost nearly seven months in litigation and this will likely postpone the first human moon landing to at least 2025,” Nelson said, adding that NASA will need to have more in-depth contact with SpaceX – Elon Musk’s ‘creature’ chosen by NASA in April to build a lander – to define a precise timetable. “After analyzing the situation for 6 months,” he added, “it is clear that the agency will have to make serious changes to ensure the long-term success of the program.”
