Exactly one week after launch, Age of Empires 4 officially entered the fase gold. The confirmation came from the game’s official website, which therefore ensures that there will be no delays compared to the release date, set for Thursday 28 October on Steam, Windows Store and Xbox Game Pass for PC.
Just a few days ago, the official Age of Empires 4 YouTube channel released a long and in-depth gameplay video, showing a clash between the French and the Chinese, all with commentary from ZeroEmpires and Eric Wrobel. The ideal to cheat the wait separates the game release.
Age of Empires 4 is a real-time strategy game that blends innovation with the traditional elements that made the series famous. The campaign is divided into four long chapters and the game allows you to face battles between factions with one of the eight empires available, both offline and online in PvP and PvE. It will also be possible to experience the adventures of historical figures such as Joan of Arc in her fight with the English and Genghis Khan in command of the Mongol troops with the aim of conquering Asia.
To find out more, we recommend that you read our tried-and-true Age of Empires 4, by Simone Tagliaferri, which states:
“Having tried Age of Empires 4, we have even more desire to play the definitive version. The technical demo offered us only a fraction of what will be the contents of the final version, but it was a good game, from which we drew the preliminary conclusion that it is a very solid RTS and made with great competence. Maybe look a little too much at Age of Empires 2, but we’ll see if that turns out to be good or bad in the long run.“
