Microsoft has updated the firmware of the Xbox controller, adding a characteristic truly exceptional: the possibility of change device game in real time, with the double press of a button. This way you can switch between any Xbox console and PC and mobile systems with blazing speed, as the video below shows.
How does it work? Controllers now support Bluetooth Low Energy, which increases compatibility with all appliances. After the firmware update, the controllers will have memory of a Bluetooth host (such as a smartphone) and an Xbox Wireless host (such as Xbox Series X). This makes it possible to quickly switch between connected devices as shown in the video.
Even with this little novelty, Microsoft has shown that it wants to continue to pursue its primary objective, which is total versatility and accessibility. The new firmware, however, not only does this, but reduces latency by playing wirelessly thanks to Dynamic Latency Input (DLI) technology. For now, the news is only available in the insider program, but soon it will be for everyone.
