Presented last August 10, during the launch event of the expected Xiaomi MIX 4, the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition it is obviously not a major update, but it still brings numerous improvements (here is our dedicated article) and now the roll out for a second group of smartphones consisting of a single Xiaomi and several generations of Redmi Note series is in preparation.
The first batch announced by Xiaomi it consisted of a total of twelve models, and as we’ve seen over the past few weeks, the release of updates was progressing according to plan.
Now, taking the word on Xiaomi Community China, the Asian manufacturer has made the official announcement of the second group of smartphones that will receive the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition in the month of October.
As you can see from the image below – this is the official table published by Xiaomi in the community -, the list consists of a total of seven models. Since this is a list referring to the Chinese market, some names are different from us, therefore below they have been joined by the names of the equivalent European models.

According to what can be seen from the table, the reference date for the release of the internal Stable Beta build is that of the8 October 2021; to follow there will be a gradual roll out which, in the absence of major problems, will be extended already during the month of October 2021.
That said, Xiaomi has provided a release window of the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition globally, but in the meantime Android 12 looms and it would be interesting to know more about the much more awaited MIUI 13.
