iPad Mini and iPad 9: here’s how much RAM they have

On last Tuesday, Apple, revealed to everyone the new generation of iPad Mini and “ basic ” iPad. Two new tablets that the company presented directly on the stage of the Cupertino keynote, arousing some surprises to those who actually did not expect them already in this event. iPad Mini is the smallest tablet in Apple’s catalog and now it is updated not only at the hardware level but above all at the aesthetic level, completely taking up the appearance of the other devices of the company, with square frames and a Touch ID placed in the on and off button. iPad 9 is the company’s cheapest tablet, the one with a good but not exaggerated technical sector but which in fact is renewed once again allowing everyone to still have a quality device at low cost. But how much RAM do the two new generation tablets have?

iPad Mini and iPad 9: here’s how much RAM they have

Let’s start with iPad Mini because it is actually the new ” small ” tablet of the company di Cupertino is a real concentrate of power and not only for the size but also for the hardware components it possesses. We knew, from presentation, of the presence of the brand new A15 Bionic processor that Apple decides to include on the entire line of the iPhone 13 but also on this small iPad Mini.

As always, Apple does not formalize the amount of RAM present in its devices but in fact a few hours after the presentation 4GB of RAM has been confirmed inside iPad Mini. And compared to the past iPad Mini of the last generation we have a 1GB RAM increase which certainly coupled with the new A15 Bionic will allow you to achieve really high results. And one wonders if the iPad Mini will be able to beat the numbers of the iPad Air 4, which we know also has 4GB of RAM. While the comparison with the iPad Pro will perhaps be a bit exaggerated as the more pumped version of the iPad has 8 or 16GB of RAM.

iPad 9 instead has 3GB of RAM and this means that Apple has not decided to increase the memory in this device since even the version 8 of the iPad already had 3GB of RAM. Actually the change for this product comes in the CPU given the entry of the new A13 Bionic. And we will also see here if there will actually be a power boost compared to the previous generation.
