Sam Lake confirms the return also on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S

Confirming the latest advances on the upcoming reveal of Alan Wake Remastered, the Creative Director of Remedy Entertainment Sam Lake officially announces the return of the thrilling experience on PC and PlayStation and Xbox consoles, both of this and of the past generation.

In giving the announcement, moreover, the creator of the epic in dark colors by Alan Wake specifies that the development of the project is now close to its completion and, consequently, it will not be necessary to wait much longer before returning to the (once ) charming town of Bright Falls.

Epic Games actively contributed to the development of Alan Wake Remastered, hence the decision to launch the PC version of the title exclusively on the Epic Games Store. As for the console versions, as specified above, the remastering of Alan Wake will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and for the first time on platforms PlayStation, in the dual edition for PS4 and PlayStation 5.

From an exquisitely content point of view, Alan Wake’s Remaster will remain faithful to the original experience but will propose various improvements and optimizations that will obviously pass from the enhancement of polygonal models and textures of enemies, scenarios and characters, including the protagonist. There will then be room for updated cinematic scenes and for some graphic improvements to be enjoyed on PC and nextgen consoles. The commercialization of Alan Wake Remastered is scheduled for end of the year; hence shortly, therefore, we should receive further details on the project and the inevitable presentation video.
