Horizon Forbidden West was postponed al 2022, as reported by journalist Jason Schreier on Bloomberg, who says he obtained this information from a source close to the project. For the moment it is therefore still a rumor, waiting for an official announcement from Sony.

Released in 2022 also according to Jeff Grubb, Horizon Forbidden West is the second episode of the famous series developed by Guerrilla Games, which will be available in cross-gen format and will therefore be released on both PS5 than on PS4.

Some time ago Hermel Hulst admitted that the 2021 release for Horizon Forbidden West was not confirmed, so the eventual confirmation of the postponement should not surprise too much. However, as mentioned, for the moment there is still no official status.

Featuring a sumptuous technical sector and some interesting news, as reported in our preview of Horizon Forbidden West, the sequel to Zero Dawn will put us in the shoes of the hunter Aloy, struggling this time with a mysterious plague.

A delay in the development of the game would certainly be justified by the difficulties related to the pandemic, but also by the ambitions and complexity of the project, welcomed with great enthusiasm from the first trailer.
