After weeks of rumor and speculation, Geoff Keighley confirmed with a screenshot that the first Halo Infinite Technique Preview will start very soon: the test phase will start on 29 July and will last until Sunday 1st August.
343 Industries announced that tonight at 11pm (CET) it will broadcast a special live on Twitch for “allow players to get a first look at the Halo Infinite technical preview“, underlining how the test will come very soon. The Canadian journalist went further posted a rather explicit screenshot which confirms the dates indicated at the beginning.
The study reiterated that this is not a Beta but a Technical Test organized to test the functionality of the online infrastructure and servers. Access will be limited to selected users only, you still have time to sign up for the Halo Infinite Beta, the chosen subscribers will participate not only in the Test Preview but also in future Beta phases, not yet announced. Invitations are being sent out and should all be delivered today.
The weekend tests will focus on Bot Slayer mode on three maps Bazaar, Recharge and Live Fire, the goal is to test the correct functioning of the Bots at various difficulty levels including Recruit, Marine, ODST and Spartan.
