Ghostwire Tokyo has been postponed and will not be released in 2021. The new exit period is the beginning of 2022, on a date yet to be decided, as announced by the developer Tango Gameworks via Twitter. The news is definitely important, because it is a particularly anticipated title, being a temporal exclusive of PS5.
The referral message is quite interesting and refers to the desire to avoid periods of crunch prolonged for developers, as well as the need to have more time to bring the game to the desired quality.
For the rest, the developers wanted to thank the players for their patience and hope that they will be satisfied with the final experience offered by Ghostwire Tokyo, different from all the other productions of the studio. “We look forward to showing you more in the coming months.“
The postponement is sacrosanct, especially if it leads to an improvement in the quality of the game. Too bad for the loss of another PS5 exclusive by the end of 2021, even if only in time. Hopefully Guerrilla will be able to launch Horizon Forbidden West by the end of the year at this point.
