LIMITED EDITION – L’Abarth 695 Esseesse Collectors’ Edition will be produced in 1,390 units, half in “Scorpion Black” color the other half in “Grigio Campovolo”. This new version is inspired by the 1964 model of the same name with a 38 HP 690 cc engine, which allowed it to reach 140 km / h.
LIGHTER – As well as his ancestor, the new one Abarth 695 Esseesse aims to improve the performance of the 595 Competizione. For this the engineers have on several fronts. First of all, the weight reduction, obtained thanks to the adoption of a new bonnet with double hump, 25% lighter than the normal one, and the Akrapovic titanium exhausts. These and other interventions that overall led to a decrease of 10 kg compared to the 595 Competizione.
AERODYNAMIC LOAD – Changes also from the aerodynamic point of view, with a conspicuous aileron rear adjustable from 0 to 60 °; according to the manufacturer in the position of maximum inclination and at a speed of 200 km / h it increases the aerodynamic load up to 42 kg, allowing an improvement in cornering stability and greater reactivity on mixed sections.
GRIT TO SELL – Aesthetically theAbarth 695 Esseesse it stands out for its white details in the lower part of the fascias, on the mirror caps, as well as for the side stickers and 17 ”alloy wheels with red hubcaps and contrasting red Brembo calipers. The customization is also evident inside where we find the seats with the inscription “one of 695” on the headrest with a stitching in the same color as the bodywork, the red seat belt, the band on the dashboard in Alcantara with the inscription 695 Esseesse and carbon elements on the gear knob, pedals and inserts on the steering wheel. The multimedia system does not change, which is the Uconnect with a 7 ”screen and compatibility with Apple Car Play and Android Auto.
THE POWER IS NOT MISSING – Under the hood of theAbarth 695 Esseesse there is the 1.4 T-jet that delivers 180 HP of power and a torque of 250 Nm at 3,000 rpm, allowing a maximum speed of 225 km / h (with aileron set to 0 °) and a 0-100 in 6.7 seconds . The shock absorbers are the Koni FSD on both axles. To curb the exuberance of this little bomb is the braking system that adopts red Brembo aluminum 4-piston calipers at the front and self-ventilated discs of 305 mm and 240 mm at the rear. The gearbox is manual but, on request, the sequential robotized gearbox with paddles on the steering wheel is available.
