A little surprisingly, Electronic Arts has decided to change the format EA Play Live 2021. What until a few years ago was a “simple” pre-E3 conference, has now become an appointment at stages Themes that will culminate with the final show on July 22, 2021. Let’s find out all the appointments that will keep us company in the coming weeks.
In these Spotlights personalities from DICE, Respawn, EA SPORTS and the studios behind the EA Originals games will alternate. They are a group of talented developers who will give information on what they are creating and how they are doing it. In the hope that some tasty new news will also be revealed in the meantime. Each Spotlight will be an event in its own right, featuring wide-ranging discussions with dedicated guests and a panel of developers.
EA Play Live, therefore, becomes more than a single broadcast. Throughout the month of July there will be five different broadcasts in total, consisting of four individual Spotlights and the main show on July 22nd.

July 8 at 7pm – The future of first person shooters
The Spotlights series begins with an extensive discussion of Apex Legends and Battlefield 2042, surely one of the most viewed and appreciated games of E3, which will show again during July.
For the Spotlight, DICE CEO Oskar Gabrielson and DICE LA CEO Christian Grass, Respawn Founder and GM Vince Zampella and Apex Game Director Chad Grenier will join IGN’s Stella Chung to discuss all the news about Battlefield 2042 and to understand what will be shown on July 22 and in the following months for FPS in general.
July 13th at 7pm – EA <3 the indies
EA will dedicate an entire Spotlight to the vital role independent studios play in the industry. Todd Martens of the Los Angeles Times will host a panel featuring Hazelight’s Josef Fares (It Takes Two), Zoink’s Olov Redmalm (Lost in Random), Silver Rain’s Mel Philips and Abubarker Salim, and Velan’s Guha Bala (Knockout City).
It will be a lively and wide-ranging discussion!
July 20 at 1:00 am – How the community is shaping Madden NFL 22
Fans always influence their favorite games. This year, EA SPORTS Madden NFL 22 is taking this idea to a new level by listening to players through the system Madden Design Council. On this occasion, the developers will talk about how fans influenced the development of the Franchise mode and helped create highly sought-after features such as personnel management, weekly gameplay strategy, and a new scenario engine.
In addition, the brand new scouting feature coming to Madden NFL 22 will be unveiled. Presenting will be Seann Graddy, Tom Lischke and Andre Weingarten of EA SPORTS who will be accompanied by Nick Mizesko, caster of the Madden Championship Series.
July 20th at 7pm – EA SPORTS again!
This panel is still shrouded in mystery. But EA told us that this Spotlight will highlight a hugely in demand new addition to a hugely popular and longtime EA SPORTS franchise. What will it be?
July 22 at 7pm – EA Play Live
On July 22nd at 7pm it will be time for EA Play Live, EA’s real show. There will be space for new gameplay videos and exclusive news on all the major brands, such as FIFA, Battlefield and many more. They will be Very intense 40 minutes and chock full of the games that will flock to our consoles and PCs in the coming months.
