Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart just received update 1.002, which introduces i 40 fps in Loyalty mode when using a display that supports i 120 Hz.
As we know, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart runs on PS5 at 60 fps even with ray tracing, but the new feature concerns precisely the graphics mode a 4K real, one designed to ensure a stable frame rate a 30 fps.
The use of 40 frames it is a fairly new idea in the videogame field, which among other things reveals how the game has sufficient margin to be able to reach this value while leaving the real 4K intact.
The official changelog of update 1.002 reveals more news: extra stickers, new options for the Photo Mode and the resolution of a series of more or less relevant glitches.
Speaking of performance and visual quality, Digital Foundry once said that Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is one of the reasons we need next-gen titles.
