Curious accident, fortunately without injuries, this morning at the Rally Valli Ossolane. Two cars went into the ravine at the end of the Cannobina test, which for the first time was held downhill.
At the end of the special, about a hundred meters after the arrival in Ponte Gurro, car number 49 – the Renault Clio of Daniele Bestetti and Mattia Nicastri – crashed into the guardrail. Shortly after another car hit the crashed car.
Then they both broke through the barrier, ending up in the ravine below the roadway. A flight of about 10 meters: but if in the first crashed car (the 49) there was nobody inside, the second instead had the two drivers on board. Fortunately, so much fright, but no injuries. The two got out of the middle alone.
