The accident did not have any consequences for the children and no one had to resort to the care of the 118 operators who arrived at the scene of the accident. Seven of the twenty-five children rescued were still taken to hospital for examination because of the alleged smoke inhalation, even if their conditions are currently not a cause for concern. The north lane of the SS36 was reopened to traffic around 1pm, when the busy firefighters put out the flames. There is practically nothing left of the bus, devoured by the fire.
