15:10 – Our LIVE chronicle of the Doha Grand Prix warm up ends here, thank you for following it with us. Our LIVE will be back tonight at 7pm with the start of the second leg of the season, so Stay Tuned!

15:05 – The Ducati domination continues this weekend in Losail and in particular the domination of the Ducati of Team Pramac. After taking pole yesterday with Jorge Martìn, today it was the turn of his most experienced teammate Johann Zarco to regulate everyone in the warm up. The Frenchman has put on a great race pace and seems to be the number one candidate to win today.

The fittest rivals continue to be the Yamaha riders, but we’re only talking about Quartararo, Vinales and Morbidelli, because Valentino Rossi struggled a lot this morning too, ending the session in 18th position. In any case, it seems that today the fight for victory could again be a private affair between Ducati and Yamaha, with Bagnaia and Miller ready to scratch.

Also this morning Aliex Espargarò was brilliant on the Aprilia, which closed the warm up in 8th position. The RS-GP is always in the top ten in every single session disputed up to now in Losail and at this point the speed of this bike seems a certainty that will only be confirmed on other tracks.

On the other hand, Honda and KTM continue to suffer. The best HRC driver was Nakagami, 10th by a whisker, while Pol Espargarò finished in 12th position. Worse went to KTM, with Danilo Petrucci best rider in the standings on the RC16 and today 14th in this last free practice session before the Grand Prix. It seems that Losail is really indigestible to the Austrian motorcycle.

15:02 – Checkered flag on this warm up in Losail, with Zarco taking the best performance of the session in front of three Yamahas, with Quartararo 2nd on Vinales and Morbidelli in order.

14:59 – 18th Valentino Rossi, who is using two hard tires and could make this tire choice so different from that of all the others in view of the race

14:58 – Jorge Martin has a great pace today too, who seems destined to experience a race as a protagonist. If he were to take off as well as he managed last Sunday, he could also try to escape in the first laps of the race

14:56 – Zarco barefoot Quartararo. France on the shields in Losail! 3rd Vinales ahead of Morbidelli’s Yamaha. Jorge Martin always 5th on Bagnaia.

14:55 – This is the ranking when there are about 5 minutes left at the end of this warmup

14:53 – Joan Mir also shows up in the noble areas of the ranking and climbs to 6th place. Meanwhile, Zarco took his Ducati Pramac to 2nd place behind Quartararo

14:51 – Quartararo improves and Jorge Martìn also reaches the top, who signs the third time in front of Aleix Espargarò. Luca Marini is also very good, now he is 7th. Meanwhile Morbidelli arrives and completes Yamaha’s trio in front of everyone. Third chronometric performance for the Italian of the Petronas team. Rossi is now 14th

14:50 – Aleix Espargarò puts himself in third position ousting Bagnaia. The Aprilia is more and more concrete and faster in all circumstances. The level of this RS-GP seems to be very high and it will be interesting to understand how fast it can be in Portimao, home to the second GP of the season.

14:48 – Quartararo breaks the delay and goes to the first position in front of Vinales. Yamaha double at this stage. Third time for Pecco Bagnaia.

14:46 – Aleix Espargarò continues to be very incisive, immediately taking his Aprilia RS-GP to first position in this first phase of the warm up. Behind him Vinales and Brad Binder, who has not yet managed to be incisive in this first phase of the season

14:44 – On the track also Pol Espargarò, who has not yet found a perfect harmony on the Honda RCV213. Marc Marquez could return to Portimao and perhaps there will be a real litmus test on Honda’s level of competitiveness

14:40 – Green light in pitlane, warm up starts in Losail. Fabio Quartararo on track to try to emulate the results obtained by Vinales last week

14:37 – Everything is ready on the track and eyes on Jorge Martìn, who was able to conquer an incredible pole at his second MotoGP Grand Prix. Will he be able to repeat himself on the same levels in the competition?

14:35 – Hello and welcome to our LIVE chronicle of the MotoGP warm up in Losail. The weather conditions are perfect today in Qatar and this could allow teams and riders to adjust their bikes for the race.

Yesterday’s qualifying in Losail gave the joy of the first pole position of his career in MotoGP to a stratospheric Jorge Martìn, rookie on the Ducati of Team Pramac in this 2021. To make the day of Paolo Campinoti’s team perfect, Johann Zarco’s second square has also arrived who scored a double that was difficult to predict on the eve of qualifying.

Everyone was in fact certain that yesterday would be the day of Jack Miller, who for the second time in a row was unable to extract all the potential from his Ducati Factory and finished in 4th position which is certainly not a negative result, but leaves a slight bitterness in the mouth. Today there will be the Yamahas to keep an eye on, given that Vinales and Quartararo are the unwanted guests of the Ducati party in the first two rows of the grid, and last week the Spaniard himself had taught his rivals from Borgo Panigale a hard lesson.

This warm up will be the last opportunity to adjust the set-up of the bikes in view of a race as always very demanding for tire wear in the twenty minutes of this session Valentino Rossi will undoubtedly have to pull the classic rabbit out of the hat. Today Rossi will start 21st and does not seem at all at ease on the same M1 that last weeken allowed him to start in 4th position on the grid. It will be tough, but today Valentino is called to a real test of pride.
