The traffic lights of the Losail International Circuit will officially go off at 19.00 and, at that point, it will be time to attend the Doha Grand Prix, the second round of the 2021 MotoGP World Championship. The Qatari one-two will end, with 22 laps that are announced as intense as ever. By now teams and riders, after 5 days of testing and two race weekends, know the track and their respective bikes perfectly, so the battle will be truly pitched under the spotlight in the desert near Doha.

The Spanish rookie Jorge Martin will start in front of everyone. The rider of the Ducati Pramac team placed the surprise of the day, ahead of his teammate, the French Johann Zarco. In the front row together with this unleashed duo we will find the winner of the Qatar Grand Prix, Maverick Vinales, on the hunt for an immediate encore. In the second row the two official Ducatis, with Jack Miller fourth and Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia sixth, while Fabio Quartararo pushed his Yamaha into fifth position.

For other Italians there is not too much to smile about. Franco Morbidelli will be tenth and will open the fourth row, then Luca Marini will start from the thirteenth square, then Danilo Petrucci will be seventeenth. Bad news for Valentino Rossi, who will close the seventh row due to his twenty-first time trial, while Lorenzo Savadori will close the group all alone in the eighth row with the twenty-second time.

So let’s get to know the in detail starting grid for the second round of the season, the 2021 MotoGP Grand Prix in Doha. The start will be at 19.00 Italian.
