The midfielder hosted 10-20 people, in his house in the hills, during the night. The Carabinieri intervened. Infuriated Juve: sure a heavy fine, probable exclusion for the derby
A dinner for over 20 people at the McKennie house, with Dybala, Arthur, girlfriends and other Juventus players among the guests, who would have left the house before the arrival of the Carabinieri around 11.30pm. The military, probably warned by some neighbors, fined those present – around ten in all – for violating the anti-Covid regulations. McKennie, Dybala and Arthur will also have a fine from Juve and almost certainly there will be no Saturday in the derby: probable punitive exclusion.
At the party, as mentioned, the Juventus players were present with girlfriends and friends. All after the curfew time (10pm) and evidently in non-compliance with anti-Covid rules. McKennie did not immediately open the gate to law enforcement but did so only at a later time. He does not risk accusations of resistance to a public official but has been identified – like everyone present – and will be sanctioned for non-compliance with anti-Covid regulations. Once inside, in fact, the carabinieri found that a party was in progress at the house.
In addition to the fines imposed by the police, there will also be penalties from the club, which is infuriated by the behavior of McKennie, Arthur and Dybala. All, curiously, struggling with physical problems. On the other hand, evaluations are underway on technical penalties: Pirlo will decide in these hours, but there is a strong possibility that the three could be excluded for Saturday’s derby. A substantial certainty for Arthur, who most likely would have missed the game anyway due to his right leg problem.
