Innovation and new technological solutions are key factors for the success of competitions with increasingly performing electric propulsion engines, such as the FIA Formula E World Championship, the FIM ENEL Moto World Cup, and the recent launches of the Extreme E and UIM E1 World Electric Powerboat Series.
These spectacular competitions are staged on historic circuits and iconic cities, but also deserts, forests, glaciers, seas and lakes of our planet.
The mission is to combine awareness and perception of communities and attention to the environment with the charm of motor racing, putting the spotlight on the fight against climate change and sustainable mobility.
The event, with a exclusive format, will open with a first-rate panel, with the participation of guests from the world of sport and energy: Alejandro Agag, CEO – Extreme E and President – Formula E, Rodi Basso, CEO – UIM E1 Series, Raffaele Chiulli, President of SAFE, GAISF and UIM, Francesco Venturini, CEO – Enel X.
To inspire new generations to become future sustainability leaders, on 8 April, on the occasion of the inauguration of the XXII edition of the SAFE Master, will take to the track i Formula 1 champions, Formula E and Extreme E, with special contributions from: Nico Rosberg, two-time Formula 1 world champion with Mercedes, now an ambassador of sustainability, Jenson Button, world champion in 2009 with BrawnGP, today a rider in Extreme E, e Lucas Di Grassi, Formula E world champion with Audi Sport ABT.
The event will be an opportunity to experience the synergies between motorsport, innovation, energy and transport on a global level.
