“Time 2 Rap Festival” debuts at Villa Ada Rome meets the world
The cast with over 15 hardcore rap MCs between metal and hip-hop
Rome, June 23 (askanews) – “Time 2 Rap Festival”, the first live event signed by Time 2 Rap Records in collaboration with Radar Concerti, kicks off on Saturday 3 July. The newly formed Roman label dedicated to hardcore rap and extreme contaminations between metal and Hip-Hop, presents the artists of its roster to the public of Villa Ada who will present their respective latest works live.
Among them Metal Carter, veteran of the national hip-hop scene and former founding member of TruceKlan and TruceBoys, who will take the stage to present the songs from the latest album “Fresh Kill”; and Chef Ragoo, another spearhead of underground rap, has recently released the album “Novecento”, which summarizes the strong punk approach of the Roman MC.
Suarez, another pillar of Roman hip-hop already a member of the Nacapito and Gente de Borgata crews, who will bring to the stage with DJ Drugo a selection of his latest works such as the single “Io so stanco” or the album “Siberia”.
Supremo 73 is a veteran of the Capitoline scene already with the name of Gufo X. Since 1994 he has been active between live, studio and collaborations even joining the historic collective Rome Zoo and subsequently founding the Gente de Borgata crew. For the occasion, the artist will perform together with Rak of the Barracruda crew, proposing the latest works.
Also present Santo Trafficante, also known as Santino, pseudonym of Fabian Santo Caruso is an Italian-German MC and beatmaker, known for his gangsta rap style. Live will also bring the tracks of the latest album released last year entitled “Pistole d oro”.
Then there is CK Crew, the youngest member of the T2R roster. A Hip-Hop / underground duo formed by MCs Crosti Cash and Frodo, who despite their young age, aim straight for old school rap.
