Gabriele Paolini, the famous TV jammer, was arrested. A pile of convictions for him: crimes ranging from induction to prostitution, pedophilia up to the attempted violence. In total he will have to serve eight years in prison. The order to execute the sentence was issued by the Court of Appeal of Rome and the agents of the San Basilio Police District knocked on the door of the Paolini house.
In 2013 there was a complaint against Paolini and, after the investigation, he was sent to prison for 19 days and then under arrest at home for 20 months. The investigating judge, we recall, contested relations with minors in exchange for money. Furthermore, according to the indictment, he was in a relationship with a 17-year-old unwilling. In 2017 came the first degree sentence of five years of imprisonment by the judges of the fifth criminal section of the court of Rome, the sentence was confirmed by the Court of Appeal and the Cassation. But the defense of Gabriele Paolini continues to reiterate his innocence. «A lost opportunity for justice – comments the lawyer Maximilian Kornmuller, one of Gabriele Paolini’s lawyers. My client has always professed innocence ».
Paolini became famous for his forays as a TV jammer. The moment in which he fell behind the cameras of the correspondent of Emilio Fede, who blurted out live calling him a “scoundrel”. A real show given to every newscast. Perhaps there have been thousands of his appearances. Today, Paolini will have to serve 8 years in prison. And we won’t see him on TV for a while.
