Francesco Ciconte, 44, arrested on Saturday for killing his brother Vincenzo, 47, in the San Siro district of Milan, must remain in prison on charges of “murder aggravated by kinship relations”. The request for validation of the arrest and pre-trial detention was formulated by the Milanese prosecutor Giovanni Tarzia and forwarded to the investigating judge.
The 47-year-old was stabbed to death in the night between Friday and Saturday in the house in Viale Aretusa where he lived with his brother and mother. Vincenzo Ciconte, with drug addiction problems, had a history of mistreatment against his mother, whose story about that last degenerate quarrel between the two children was collected in the minutes in the investigations of the mobile team.
In 2019 the police had been forced to intervene in that house, because the son, when the woman refused to give him money for drugs, had beaten her so much that she was sent to hospital with numerous days of prognosis.
