On which we are continuously working and to which, thanks to Virtuo, we will test the two models that they have included in the fleet “, explains the Fleet Manager of Mercedes-Benz Italy. Based on three collection stations in the city – in Porta Venezia, piazzale Lodi and Stazione Centrale with six more arriving, including the three city airports, Linate, Malpensa and Orio al Serio – Virtuo’s fully digital and keyless rental service has also a home delivery method, thanks to Virtuo Delivered, “Active not only in the city but also outside, reaching as far as Monza” he explains Karim Kaddoura, Co-founder of the company, who underlines how, following the development lines where the service is already present, Virtuo will soon expand to other cities of the Peninsula, “starting from Rome” he says.

How does it work. Renting a Mercedes with Virtuo – but in other countries there are also models of other brands, “we decide by following the indications that we receive from periodic surveys we do with our customers” says Kaddoura – is very easy: just download the app of the company, available for Ios and Android, make reservations for the chosen car for the desired period, indicate the time of collection and return, pay for the car, collect it, reporting any previous damage, and start the engine using a digital key . With prices ranging from around 100 euros and more for a rental day, up to less than 40 euros per day for longer periods.

Who is Virtuo. The French company was founded in 2016 in Paris and is already active in 60 European cities, including the French capital, Lyon, Marseille, Madrid, Barcelona, ​​London, Manchester and Edinburgh in four countries. It has a fleet of 3,500 vehicles and 400,000 registered users and, just in conjunction with the landing in Italy, has announced a new round of financing of 80 million euros from Axa Venture Partners with the participation of Bpifrance, through its Large Venture funds, Alpha Intelligence Capital and the Italian family office H14, and a pan-European credit line granted by Natixis and several members of Banque Populaire et Caisse d’Epargne Group. Just Axa is the insurance partner of Virtuo which, in the various countries where it operates, has closed other local partnerships, such as those with Wash Out O Apcoa Parking in Italy.
