Mancini and Petkovic’s deputies are two coaches who have experienced seasons as protagonists, on the pitch, with Milan and Inter. One more reason for interest in the Azzurri’s second challenge to the European Championship
Today, on the eve of Italy-Switzerland, Roberto Mancini and Vladimir Petkovic will speak at a press conference. Then, away from the spotlight and the microphones, the two coaches will confront each other in private with their respective “deputies”, as they do every day. And here curiosity arises, which in this case rhymes with novelty, because the blue Alberico “Chicco” Evani, 58, and the Rossocrociato Antonio Manicone, 54, the first collaborators of Mancini and Petkovic, are both very Italian, with common experiences at San Siro, the first in Milan, the second in Inter, and a past in the national team, with Arrigo Sacchi on the bench.
